Syrian-born, Germany-based DJ and producer elMefti has quickly established himself as a rising force in the global hard techno scene. With over 2.9 million streams, a Platinum plaque awarded in 2026 for his hard techno remix of Vielleicht Vielleicht, and performances at iconic festivals including Tomorrowland and Creamfields, his impact extends far beyond the dancefloor.
elMefti’s journey into music began in a small bedroom studio, fuelled by his experiences on rave dancefloors and a desire to create something of his own. What started as an obsession with production soon evolved into a fully fledged artistic identity, taking him from behind the computer screen to commanding crowds across the world.
Blending the raw energy of classic rave with relentless modern hard techno, elMefti’s sound is driven by storytelling, theatricality and a distinctive creative vision. Drawing inspiration from Asian culture, anime and cinematic worlds, each production carries its own narrative, bringing an unmistakable character to his music. Releases including Let’s Play a Game, Headbangers, Turn It Back and Vielleicht Vielleicht showcase an artist who refuses to follow a formula.
