GHEIST is an electronic live act from Berlin, built around the idea that emotion and movement belong together.
Originally formed as a collective, GHEIST has developed a distinctive sound that moves effortlessly between powerful club music, emotional songwriting and immersive live performance. Over the years, the project has released music on labels including Rose Avenue, Anjunadeep, Diynamic, Last Night On Earth, Exploited and Watergate Records, while building a dedicated international audience through its unique approach to electronic music. The name GHEIST combines the English word “Ghost” and the German word “Geist” — a reflection of the project’s belief that music can often communicate more than personality ever could. From the beginning, the focus was never on individual identities, but on creating experiences that people could lose themselves in.
Today, GHEIST is fronted by vocalist Ramon and built around a live experience that combines emotional vocals, electronic production and club-focused energy. The project moves fluidly between intimate moments and euphoric peaks, creating performances designed for clubs, festivals and concert stages alike. The music often begins with simple ideas, a melody, a lyric, a feeling, or a moment of inspiration, and develops into songs that look forward rather than backward. Themes of connection, possibility, momentum and shared experience run throughout the project’s current work, creating a sound that feels both emotional and uplifting.
