Frankfurt am Main (Germany) based DJ and producer Scot Project has been behind the decks since 1991 and shaping the sound of hard trance since 1994. After starting his career as a resident DJ, he gained international recognition with the 1996 underground anthem “U (I Got a Feeling)”. In 2001, his single “O (Overdrive)” entered the official German Singles Chart.

Rather than chasing trends, Scot Project has remained true to his distinctive sound while constantly evolving it. Elements of hard techno, techno, tech trance, melodic trance and harder styles are incorporated into an unmistakable signature: powerful, melodic and forward-thinking hard trance in the unique Scot Project style.

His DJ sets consist predominantly of his own productions, unreleased material, exclusive remixes, bootlegs and edits of iconic tracks from dance-music history. Energetic and full of unexpected moments, each set takes the audience on a musical journey between new discoveries and carefully selected anthems. Scot Project does not simply follow the charts: he introduces his audience to new music while reading the crowd and knowing exactly when a familiar track is needed.

He has performed in more than 40 countries and at major festivals and events including EDC, Tomorrowland, Sensation Black, Defqon.1, Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Mysteryland, Global Gathering, Love Parade, Street Parade, Parookaville and Luminosity.

His music has been released through labels including Overdose, Positiva, Armada, Spinnin’ Records, VANDIT, Outburst and his own imprint, Druck Records. His catalogue has generated more than five million Spotify streams, alongside an extensive collection of vinyl-only, independent and Bandcamp releases. His productions and remixes have appeared in sets by artists including 999999999, I Hate Models, Amelie Lens, Showtek, T78, A*S*Y*S, Space 92 and Armin van Buuren.

Whether performing a producer set built around new and unreleased music or a selected classics set featuring his own hard-trance anthems, Scot Project delivers a highly individual performance. Combined with his unmistakable stage presence and floor-length dreadlocks, he remains one of the most recognizable and influential figures in hard trance.
